Date:

Sun, 02/22/2015 - 10:00

Okay, rock nerds, we know you’re out there. Learn about the local geologic history on this 2-mile hike by the Anderson Dam. The trail follows closely along the Calaveras-Hayward Fault and Diablo Range. The highlighted geologic feature is the preserved volcanic lava that can be viewed from this trail. Be prepared to get dirty; it’s recommended to wear shoes that can handle both rocky and dusty terrain.

Meet at the parking lot above the Anderson Dam. 19245 Malaguerra Ave, Morgan Hill. 10am. Free. 408.779.3634.
