Calling all weed warriors! Help clear the winter's dead plant debris and pull out the invasive species with designs on the coastal habitat. Afterward, a Pigeon Point docent will lead a tour of the light station grounds, and Park Champions will serve a light lunch. An altogether civilized day of gardening and service. Bring water and sun protection; Park Champions will provide everything else, including gloves.
Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park. 9:30am-1:30pm. Free, but please register at http://www.calparks.org/help/park-champions or the Park Champions website.
