Work it out on a strenuous 12-mile hike starting at Rancho San Antonio. On the way to Black Mountain Summit in Monte Bello Preserve we'll gain 2500 feet and see the loveliest views. Docents Huey-Shin Yuan and Vivian Neou lead. Bring plenty of water, sun protection and lunch for a break at the summit. The hike leaders suggest arriving early to find parking.
Meet at the Rancho San Antonio main parking lot, near the restroom. 9am-2.30pm. Free. Map to Rancho San Antonio.
