Discover the natural wonders of Windy Hill Open Space Preserve on this 4.5-mile, 4-hour hike through the lower end of this popular preserve. Vistas are beautiful but the weather is changeable (and it really can be windy), so bring layers, water and a snack for this midweek cruise.
Windy Hill OSP Portola Road. 10:30am-2:30pm. Free.
From I-280, exit Alpine Road in Portola Valley. Go south on Alpine Rd. about 2.9 miles to Portola Road (the first stop sign). Turn right on Portola Rd. and travel 0.8 miles to the parking lot on the left side of the road.
