Grab your twine and head to Coyote Point for the first annual Kite Festival! San Mateo County Parks is hosting this festival honoring the wind and the best thing about it. Free kite making, a giant kite show by the Berkeley Kite Wrangers, barbecue from the Burlingame Lions (noon-2pm) and a taiko drumming presentation. Bring $6 in exact change to speed up entrance! Register for the Kite Festival.
