Ano Nuevo Swifts and Swallows

Date:

Fri, 06/16/2017 - 09:00

The Sequoia Audubon Society heads to Ano Nuevo for a day of birding in hopes of seeing six swallow species and maybe even the elusive black swift. Says the listing, "Predicted low tide at 9:52am will allow us access to Cove Beach where we can view the largest Bank Swallow nesting colony in San Mateo county. We will keep our eyes to the skies for Black Swift which also nest in the area." Please RSVP; heavy rain cancels. Bring water, snacks and layers. Email malia.defelice.sas@gmail.com to RSVP. Call 650-346-2009 if you are running late.

Ano Nuevo State Park. 9am-noon or 1pm; free, but $10 to park.
