Summer is the perfect time for beach days, hikes, and bike rides, and while many people will drive to local state parks and beaches, some will park in highway turnouts or on neighborhood streets. Here’s why we believe it’s crucial to pay the $8-10 parking fee instead. These funds support the maintenance and preservation of the parks you love, protecting historic and cultural treasures, and funding various programs.
