Celebrate and learn about African American pioneers in conservation and outdoor stewardship and explore the beautiful baylands in Ravenswood Open Space Preserve. Not only will there be festivities such as a guided nature walk, craft activities, insect discovery lab and food and beverages, but the California Buffalo Soldiers Association will make a special appearance, along with several prominent government figures from the area.
