Join Docent Naturalists Karen DeMello, Jan Hintermeister, and Cathy Brown together with Midpen Open Space to learn some facts and dispel some myths about the world's most misunderstood mammal: the bat! As the sun goes down, you'll hang out near the Daniels Nature Center to see whether bats appear over Alpine Pond, returning to your car before darkness sets in. Bring binoculars if you have them.
