With Rick Herder in the lead, the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society heads for the lower elevations of beautiful Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve in search of spring migrants and raptors. This one's a little rustic, folks—Coyote Valley has no facilities, and cattle very much enjoy its green acres (so watch your step). Bring water and a snack. Rain cancels.
