On this leisurely 3-mile, four-hour hike through Monte Bello Preserve, docents Bill and Marilyn Bauriedel and Tommi and Strether Smith will point out migrating species and how to identify them by sight and sound. Bring binoculars and a bird book if you have them; if you don't, the docents will have a spotting scope on hand. All are welcome to cruise Stevens Creek and Canyon trails on the lookout for birds with baggage.
Monte Bello Preserve, 1.5 miles east of Skyline Rd on Page Mill Rd. 9am-1pm. Free.
