The Outreach to the Outdoors series at Rancho Cañada del Oro OSP lets kids get up close and personal with nature. Today's three-hour session is all about butterflies and other pretty things. Bring water, a snack, sunscreen and clothes and shoes suitable for a hike.
Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve, 4289 Casa Loma Rd, Morgan Hill. 9am. Free, but class is limited to 15 kids. Register here.
Directions: From Highway 101 or 85, turn west onto Bailey Avenue. Turn left onto McKean Road, then right onto Casa Loma Road. Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve is at the end of the public access portion of the road. We’ll meet under the big oak tree.
