Beat the heat while getting a workout on this moderately strenuous hike through Purisima Creek Redwoods. Docents Noa Doitel and Steve Brugler lead a 6.5-mile tromp through the preserve that starts out along the creek and climbs Borden Hatch Mill Trail with about 1,000 feet of climbing before circling back down through Grabtown Gulch.
