Being a hayseed is a good thing at today's Harvest Festival, the first (of hopefully many) at Martial Cottle Park. There will be farm costume contests, a watermelon eating contest, pumpkin carving, food and fall produce for sale at the stand and a petting zoo. Free parking, too.
Martial Cottle Park, 5283 Snell Rd, San Jose. 10am-3pm. Free.
