Declare your independence from the tyranny of the automobile! This Fourth of July, celebrate Independence Day by taking VTA to the big downtown San Jose celebration at Discovery Meadow. The symphony starts playing at 5:30pm; grab a bite downtown and be back for the fireworks at 9:30pm. VTA Light Rail will have a special Fourth of July schedule to get you to and from the affair with a minimum of anguish.
