That second helping of pumpkin cheesecake won't burn itself off! Meet at one of two Open Space Preserve locations for a jaunt along their beautiful trails. Bring good shoes (of course), water (naturally) and layers. Learn about the Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve Mayfair Trail here and learn more about the Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve Aquila Loop Trail here.
Critters of all ages welcome, but they should have two legs, no tails and no wings.
From Highway 101 take Bailey Avenue west. Turn left on Santa Teresa Boulevard. Turn right on Palm Avenue. The preserve is at the end of Palm Avenue.

Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve, 5341 Sierra Road, San Jose, CA 95132.
Easy family hike: 10am-11:30am. Advanced adult hike 10am-2pm. Free.
Please note the Coyote Ridge hike as been cancelled.
