The old mercury mines at Almaden Quicksilver County Park shaped this region's economy and this park's topography. On a 4-mile, four-hour hike through the park's backcountry we'll discover the park's colorful history. Bring lunch, water, hiking shoes and sunhat (or rain gear, or both), but please leave tykes under 6 at home for this one.
