What could be healthier than an outdoor stroll with a doctor who's ready to listen? Midpeninsula Open Space District is teaming up with the San Mateo County Medical Association for Walk with A Doc. Show up with your questions, and a bilingual physician will answer them as you walk through beautiful outdoor spaces getting fresh air and exercise. Plus you'll get a free pedometer, bottled water and healthy snack. Sweet deal!
Windy Hill Preserve, Portola Valley. 10am-11am. Free. Park in the Portola Valley Town Center Parking Lot at 765 Portola Road. There will be ample signage to direct you. There will be a shuttle to transport walkers between the parking lot and the Windy Hill walking trail. There is also a trail from the Portola Valley Town Center Parking Lot to the trailhead (.4 miles) adjacent to the main road.
